Raid® Ant & Roach Killer 26
Because of the water-based formula, there is product in the dip tube that is not mixed when you shake the can. This may happen during the first spray, but the can will spray as expected after giving it a good shake.
This product is meant to be sprayed on surfaces only. If you can see the bugs and spray them directly, great! Otherwise, Raid® Ant & Roach Killer 26 does have residual properties. and can continue to kill roaches and ants on non-porous surfaces such as ceramic and laminate for up to 13 weeks.
Ant baits
When scout ants leave the colony to find food, they leave a chemical trail back to the colony. Worker ants then follow this trail to pick up the food source and then return it to the colony. Raid® Ant Baits provide a food source that contains insecticide that is then shared with the entire colony of ants (including the queen). You may see ants enter and leave the baits over the course of a few days, and that is part of the process. Ants will begin eating the bait immediately and you should expect to see fewer ants within days.
For baits to work best, there are a few important steps. You’ll want to make sure the baits attract the ants. You’ll want to clean around the area you plan to place the baits with soap and water to remove any crumbs and residues. Once the baits are placed, refrain from washing the floor so you don’t interfere with the new chemical trail left behind by the ants.
Place them anywhere ants like to gather. Typically, you’ll see them along baseboards, under sinks, in cabinets, or near any entrances to your home.
If using Raid® Max Liquid Ant Baits, you’ll have to remove the film that covers the baits. The original Raid® Ant Baits have no additional steps. After you’ve prepped your hom e for using the ant baits, just set them on the floor and you’re ready to go.
We recommend switching out your Raid® Ant Baits every three months. When a new colony of ants enters your household, they won’t follow the chemical trails left by other ants.
Raid® Wasp & Hornet Killer 33
To avoid accidental dispensing in stores or during shipping, this product features a break-off nozzle underneath where the spray comes out. Twist and snap off this tab, and the button will allow you to spray as expected.
Raid® Wasp & Hornet Killer 33 dispenses as a stream on purpose. This product allows you to spray a nest with precise aim while not getting too close to any stinging insects.
For best results, you’ll want to visibly locate the nest and spray the nest directly. Spraying the nest will lead to the wasps or hornets coming into contact with the product.
Additionally, this product contains a solvent that may change the color of surfaces it isn’t intended to come into contact with, such as the siding of your house or the asphalt in your driveway. Avoid excessive wetting of asphalt surfaces, shingles, vinyl surfaces, shutters, siding, and any aluminum surfaces.
Use this product in the early morning or early evening when insects activity is minimal around this time and will be less active around the nest.

Raid Essentials® Flying Insect Light Trap
When plugged into the wall, the light attracts fruit flies, gnats, house flies, moths, and mosquitoes. They then land on the trap and get stuck, where they can no longer pester you.
For this to work best, the Raid Essentials® Flying Insect Light Trap should be plugged in as close to where the source of the problem insects is. This may be a sink, next a drain, or near your garbage can. The unit also works best when there aren’t many other lights around, which ensures the flies are drawn to the trap.
